Did you time your debut to come before the ’50 Shades of Grey’ moving coming to theaters on Valentine’s Day? (Don’t ask why I know that!) He warmed me up on this cold, blustery NYC day.
Some of you may know that I have a very hard time in my current profession. Long, long story and I don’t want to drag down the greatness of this post with all that, but suffice it to say, the first week into 2015 and I’m already done. So THIS gave me much needed relief.
Yesterday, I heard the clips of Jong’s new album and while I was definitely interested and ready to hear it — I wasn’t sure how I felt. I mean, after all this man gave us ‘Symptoms,’ his already small feet have quite the big shoes to fill.
But friends, in a sea of debut and comebacks — I am so happy that Jonghyun decided to start off all of our 2015’s with a bang. ‘Crazy (Guilty Pleasure)’ was everything that I needed and more. It was dark, it was sexy, there was a spider and Jong was shirtless. He gave me some of that Prince fever, when you are mesmerized by how sexy and pretty they are. He even got his falsetto on. He checked off so many of my ‘putting on my grown man’ boxes, I just had to just sit and let it come all over me. Yup, I said that. Sorry, kids!
The noona wanted to stand up and clap but I’m in an open work environment…and an adult??
Bravo, Jong! Let that freak flag fly proudly. Yes! Check that alliteration, I am THAT excited.
